Archives: Chevelle Cancel Scheduled Performances At Rock am Ring and Rock im Ring On June 7th & 8th, 2003 In Germany

Chevelle was supposed to perform at Rock am Ring 2003 on June 7th in Nurnburg, Rheinand-pfalz and June 8th at Rock im Ring in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany according to Concert Archives dot com. However, everything fell apart when the show was canceled.

Aside from the Chicago trio, who by the way were deep in the trenches supporting their landmark album 2002's “Wonder What's Next”, the festival featured a heavy roster of about seventy seven artists: Metallica, Iron Maiden, Moby, and others. The event itself took place June 6th - 8th at Nuremberg and Frankenstadion venues.
Also, just FYI, the number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 on June 7th, 2003 was none other than “21 Questions” by 50 Cent featuring Nate Dogg.

Below is a video of Chevelle performing at Rock im Ring festival Nurnburg on June 9th, 2014. The boys are hitting these two festivals alongside Breaking Benjamin this June.
